Medipex offer to help implement the new NHS IP Guidelines

Expert support is available to aid compliance with the latest guidance published by DHSC and NHS England.

Medipex are offering a limited number of NHS service providers or commissioners an opportunity to procure bespoke support to implement and comply with the updated NHS IP Guidance issued on 18th November 2025.

Two alternative packages are available, both designed to address the ‘Actions for organisations to take’, outlined at the end of the main guidance document. Support will be delivered by members of the Medipex team who are experts in NHS IP management.

Standard Package:

• Review existing IP policy and suggest changes to align with updated guidance good practice principles and IP policy Framework (annex A)
• Online meeting with senior managers involved in innovation to discuss how to implement good practice principles that apply to Step 1 (establish IP governance and decision making framework), Step 2 (clarify IP ownership), and Step 3 (raise awareness and provide IP training)
  £1500+VAT

Enhanced Package:

• As ‘Standard’ package plus:
• Online workshop to review processes currently in place to service Steps 4-8 of the guidance, gap analysis and suggest solutions and improvements, including good practice and learnings from other organisations.
• Written report summarising gap analysis and recommendations
  £2250+VAT

Additional services (and face-to-face meetings, where feasible) may be provided for an additional fee.  Entering into a contract for either of these packages will not involve any obligation to take up annual membership of Medipex or to procure any additional services from us. Any organisation that signs up for membership before April 2026 will receive a discount on their membership fee for the first year that is equivalent to the package price paid.

Existing Medipex members will receive this service under their existing annual membership fee in addition to the full range of IP and innovation support that we’re already providing. Please get in touch with your Medipex representative to arrange.
