Innovation Voucher Competition Finalists 2021
10 January 2022
In partnership with Medovate Ltd, we launched a competition in November 2021 seeking to award a voucher worth up to £5,000 to spend on agreed activities to progress a medical device idea/concept that addresses a clinical need in the areas of surgery, anaesthesia, airway management, critical care and emergency care.
We would like to thank everyone that entered their innovative idea into the competition; a member of the Medipex team will be in touch shortly to see how we can help progress your idea. The judges were enormously impressed with the calibre of entry, and we wish to extend our congratulations to the following six shortlisted candidates (in no particular order):
- Dr Andrew Quin from Hull University Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust for an Airway Management Innovation
- Abhinav Kant from Harrogate and District NHS Foundation Trust for an Anaesthesia Safety Device Innovation.
- Dr Paul Shannon from Doncaster & Bassetlaw Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust for an Airway Access Innovation.
