DAFNEplus
DAFNEplus is an enhanced version of DAFNE (Dose Adjustment For Normal Eating).
It introduces several programmes, modules, technology and other changes to the existing DAFNE programme to further promote effective self-management in adults with Type 1 diabetes. This includes software modules that are regulated as medical devices.
A randomised controlled trial is underway to identify the effectiveness of DAFNEplus and to model the potential cost savings relating to its implementation.
We are seeking commercial partners that can support the NHS to deliver the software/technology aspects of DAFNEplus.
