Funded support available for Yorkshire and Humber companies
Medipex has been accepted onto a framework agreement to provide support services to manufacturing companies in the Yorkshire and Humber region.
The framework agreement has been let as part of the ERDF-funded Advanced Manufacturing Support programme which is being run by the National Metals Technology Centre (NAMTEC), part of the University of Sheffield, based at the Advanced Manufacturing Park. Through the contract, engineering and manufacturing organisations based in the Yorkshire and Humber region are eligible to access a wide range of funded support services.
Under the contract Medipex will be eligible to provide a range of services to Yorkshire and Humber companies who are developing products aimed at the healthcare sector. The services will provide companies with market intelligence and support for product development.
Medipex Business Development Manager Chris Herbert said “We are delighted to have been accepted onto this framework contract as it allows companies across the Yorkshire and Humber region to access funded services to support their business activities. Since the demise of Yorkshire Forward a couple of years ago, this highly valuable support for companies has been sorely lacking and we’re looking forward to working with NAMTEC and a range of companies from across the region”.
Helen Arthur, NAMTEC Project Manager said “I am very pleased to offer regional companies the chance to gain ERDF funding to help grow and expand their business. Through access to specialist consultants who have direct experience, we can work together to build and strengthen regional capability”.
