Establishing a Trust Innovation Group Workshop

Bradford Innovation Group (BIG) was set up from scratch in 2010 to establish and monitor processes for the promotion and assessment of innovation within Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust. BIG is now well established and successful, having recently run a £20k Trust innovation competition to support local projects. Lead Nurse and Trust Lead for Innovation, Angela Grange, will be hosting a workshop in conjunction with Medipex staff and other key members of BIG to give further details about how the BIG project has progressed and how the model could be transferred to other Trusts. This will be an interactive session with plenty of opportunity to ask questions.

The session will include contributions from the Medical Director, Associate Medical Director for Innovation, Assistant Finance Director and other senior BTH staff. The agenda includes:

  • Corporate view of Innovation & its importance in a modern NHS Trust
  • The Bradford Innovation Group story
  • Interactive workshop on identifying common challenges faced and how to meet them

Please contact Clare Lankester ( if you would like to attend.

This event is primarily being run for members of our Innovation Scout Network but if you wish to become a member or for any information related to our Innovation Scout Network, please contact Clare.
