Panoramic Test Object (TOPAN)

TOPAN Panoramic Test Object was developed by Dave Brettle and Steve Rimmer of the medical physics team at Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust. TO.PAN is light, easy to use and allows routine Quality Assurance of dental panoramic X-ray units. It enables dental surgeries and hospitals to routinely calibrate their x-ray units and hence circumvent the cost of using external contractors. Based on a standard jaw the device is mounted on a tripod which allows repeatable anatomic positioning in any panoramic machine including chin, bite and forehead positioning.rnrnTO.PAN has been licensed to Leeds Test Objects Limited.
