PC Cart
John Wilson of the medical physics team at Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust has developed a PC Cart which is mobile, height adjustable and works well in a busy congested clinical environment. Although tablet PC is designed to be carried, they are too heavy for the clinicians to hold and enter data for any length of time. Moreover if the staff needs to input a reasonable amount of data then the input pad of tablet PC is slower. Whereas with the PC Cart the staff can use a small keyboard and have the flexibility and mobility.
PC Cart has been licensed to T-Med Medical (a group company of Turkington Industries, ) which uses its extensive engineering facilities to provide practical medical solutions.
